On September 6, 2024, Georgia Tech announced plans to end the graduate degree programs and wind down operations with the Georgia Tech-Shenzhen Institute. Georgia Tech – Shenzhen is no longer accepting new applications for admission.
Georgia Tech is discussing with its accreditation body to implement a teach-out plan to allow currently enrolled students to work towards graduation.
TUITION AND FEES
The GT-Shenzhen tuition and fees rate is currently 45,000 RMB per semester and covers up to 13 credit hours.

- Tuition and fees are due from degree-seeking students at the beginning of each semester and are collected in Shenzhen.

- If a student chooses to spend the last semester at GT-Atlanta or GT-Europe, he/she will need to pay the tuition and fees directly to the GT-Atlanta campus or the GT-Europe instructional site, respectively.

- Tuition and fees payment details will be sent to enrolled students prior to the beginning of each semester.

- During the Summer semester, GT-Shenzhen graduate program students can register for 1-4 credit hours and pay a special reduced tuition and fee amount of ¥14,742 CNY for the semester.
- The regular tuition and fee amount of ¥45,000 CNY per semester applies for 5-13 credit hours of registration during the summer semester or 1-13 credit hours of registration during the spring or fall semester.
